New Fragrance: Success by Donald Trump: the erotic fragrance of the money

Coming exclusively to Macy’s nationwide is the latest collaboration between The Trump Organization and Five Star Fragrance Company entitled Success by Trump. The latest fragrance collection for men by Donald Trump features Top Notes of Fresh Juniper and Iced Red Currant, brushed with hints of Coriander, Middle Notes of Frozen Ginger, Fresh Bamboo Leaves and Geranium, and Bottom Notes of Vetiver, Tonka Bean, Birch Wood and Musk. The scent was of course inspired by his own success in real estate, business, publishing and television, which in theory makes it a very empowering scent.

Donald Trump expressed that “Attention to detail is critical in everything I do. This extends to choosing a great scent that exudes sophistication and confidence. We are thrilled to be partnering with Five Star Fragrance Company to broaden the Trump brand into this exciting category. Five Star’s expertise in fragrance production and marketing makes them a wonderful partner for us.”

Likewise, Rafael Villoldo, Vice President of Perfumania Holdings Inc., parent company of Five Star Fragrance Company had this to say about their partnership. “We are pleased and excited to be partnering with Mr. Trump on the launch of his fragrance. The Donald Trump name is the very definition of the American success story. His success in all fields is an inspiration to all and is a true testament to his hard work. As partners, we have a strong foundation to make this one of the most successful male celebrity fragrance launches of the season.”

To promote the new fragrance they have enlisted the likes of Miss Universe 2010, Ximena Navarrete and combined her visual appeal a very modern and sophisticated packaging. Success by Trump is offered in a four piece collection which will include a 1.7 fl oz. and 3.4 fl oz. fragrance, an after shave splash and deodorant stick. Retail prices will range from $14 to $55 and will be available March 2012.

Lolita Lempicka will launch a new version of Lolita Lempicka called L'Eau en Blanc (Water in White - an allusion to a wedding gown) from April 2012. The composition is named after the white-violet accord it features in the heart of the fragrance. The flacon becomes decorated with a white apple stem and the purple of the glass has become milkier...

The Eau de Parfum opens on top notes of violet leaf absolute, the green of iris and sap. The heart features notes of white violets, cherries, licorice and raspberry. The base rests on heliotrope, vetiver, tonka and musk. The scent is said to be a sweet powdery floral with gourmand overtones.

Jacomo are releasing a new, revisited version of their 1978 classic Silences. It is now called Silences Eau de Parfum Sublime.

The composition was entrusted to perfumer Serge Majoullier of Mane.

According to Majoullier, his work went in the direction of bringing added freshness and transparency to the green floral perfume. The chypré and leathery accords have been tuned down to better showcase the richness and allure of galbanum and narcissus.

Top notes: galbanum and cassis; heart notes: Bulgarian rose, iris, and narcissus; base notes: musks, woods, in particular sandalwood and vetiver.

The original bottle designed by Philippe de Givenchy has been slightly tweaked although it retains the mysterious, opaque black pebble-like shape.
