Grazia Daily admits to being somewhat surprised when it was first announced that K-Stew has become the French brand's new muse. In comparison to fellow young Hollywood players turned fashion darlings – we’re talking Elle Fanning for Rodarte and Mia Wasikowska for Miu Miu – the tomboy Twilight-er isn't exactly known for her high-fashion style or beauty prowess. She's often seen without a scrap of makeup and prefers to keep her brunette locks naturally tousled – the actress herself admits she's never been the type to spritz herself with fragrance.
'On a base level, the reason you want to wear a fragrance is because you want to smell attractive,' she tells WWD. 'That in itself is a pretty mature idea, especially considering the teenager I was. I was never the one wearing my mom’s perfume and trying to be sexy. I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing the opposite of that.' Yep, a true tomboy at heart who prefers trainers to heels and wears skinny jeans to a Hollywood wedding.

But thanks to the Balenciaga effect, the star's sartorial choices are becoming fashion-ier than ever (did you SEE her couture makeover in Vanity Fair?). She's even — shock horror! — started wearing perfume. 'There is something natural about it,' Stewart says of Florabotanica. 'It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.’ '
Indeed, she's clearly becoming more comfortable in front of the photographer's lens. 'I find when you do a really good photo shoot, you’ve unlocked something that you didn’t necessarily know you had in you,' the 22-year-old says. 'There are qualities that certain clothes, or certain environments and certain people, bring to the surface that can be surprising.'
