Selena Gomez is about to launch her long-awaited new perfume, and she invited her fans—ten lucky participants—right into the laboratory to help put the finishing touches on the product. Selena Gomez was there, in a short yellow dress and turquoise suede platform shoes, and the fans were there in jeans and such, and the whole group made the final choices, reports Daily Mail. Hints of raspberry, chocolate and vanilla tones wafted through the air.
Selena Gomez looked stunning and very professional as she donned a lab coat and posed for pictures. The perfume laboratory resembled a test kitchen—steel countertops and a wood floor, with small labeled bottles everywhere, and flat testing strips for trying out the scent. The whole thing was something of a mass photo

The whole group even met with Selena Gomez and the manufacturers in the boardroom to talk over marketing plans. This was definitely a day the fans will remember, and a stroke of brilliance on Selena's part. She has already consulted with bf Justin Bieber and pal Taylor Swift, both of whom have successful fragrances for sale.
"It's nice to say, 'I'm so confused, what should I do?'" Selena shared. "They've helped me, told me what they did." Selena is never one to simply follow the crowd, so "I did it a little differently than them, but it was good. I can't wait for people to smell it."
But with Selena Gomez, fans always come first. The perfume has not yet been named. Will more fans get the naming rights?

Former “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez is getting ready to launch her new perfume, joining the ranks of other tween idols such as Taylor Swift and even her own boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
According to People, Selena’s new fragrance – which will be called Selena Gomez -- is due out in May and will feature hints of raspberry, chocolate, purple freesia and vanilla and come in a decorative bottle shaped like a gown with balloons on top.
The notes in the fragrance are heavily influenced by votes from Selena’s fans and ten of her fans even joined her in New York and helped her create the final scent.
The scent is “really strong and also very feminine,” Gomez said. “I’m in a place right now where I love intoxicating feelings … you just can’t get enough of it, you want more.”
