Prada's dark side
Prada has gone to the dark side with the release of its new fragrance, the stunning inky-black L'Eau Ambree.
Only in a women's scent, the eau de parfum comes in three sizes but our favourite is the deluxe 80ml which has a rechargeable black fabric atomiser, pictured below, making it easily the most glamorous thing on your dressing table.  http://lasmuestrasenelperfumedelafragance.blogspot.com/

L'Eau joins the Prada Classic family of Amber, Amber Intense and Amber pour Homme. An ancillary line is also being released to fragrance-layer up the scent with the addition of body lotion ($85) bath and shower gel, body cream ($105) and body powder with puff ($74) - how Dita von Teese!
Thread tried the fragrance and loved its 'modern-classic'  combination of citron, may rose and amber.
The ad campaign is quite beautiful, drawing on comparisons between classical and modern beauties in a marble frieze of living models shot by Steven Meisel. Apparently they urge us to transcend the pressures of modern life to a place of contemplation. In the print ads, the muses playfully spray the fragrance on each other. Is a perfume fight the new pillow fight, perhaps!? This frieze echoes the Prada SS09 campaign which also featured models in a bas-relief shoot.
